Designed Around Living
A truly exceptional kitchen has to do more than make an impression. It needs to work beautifully, feel effortless, and reflect the way a home is actually lived in. At CoveMark Development, we approach each kitchen with that balance in mind—pairing thoughtful functionality with custom craftsmanship and refined design.
A Seamless Flow
For this Estuary at Delray kitchen, an open layout creates a natural flow between cooking, serving, dining, and gathering. The homeowners selected a premium-grade Thermador appliance package, which integrates seamlessly into the overall design while leaving the architecture, materials, and custom details to take center stage.
A Study in Texture
One of the kitchen’s defining features is the European Gigantic Semi-Precious Cristallo porcelain, carried across the countertops, backsplash, and waterfall. Created using advanced European porcelain technology, the material offers the visual impact of natural stone with the stability and performance needed for everyday living. Above the sink, floating glass shelves with integrated illumination keep frequently used pieces within easy reach while adding a light, refined texture to the space. Across from the shelves, a wall of fluted glass introduces another layer of texture and visual interest, creating contrast while maintaining the kitchen’s cohesive aesthetic.
The Art of Custom
Custom details continue throughout the space. A wood header wraps the perimeter of the kitchen, adding warmth and dimension and serving as the finishing touch—the “jewelry” of the room. The custom-painted cabinetry was equally intentional, with one-inch-thick doors and drawer fronts, 50-inch-tall upper cabinets, and double-pinned custom drawers designed to maximize both durability and storage. Specialized drawers provide designated spaces for vessel covers, cutlery, utensils, trays, and spices, while a concealed compartment accommodates a full-size ladder.
Designed to Gather
Beyond its practical considerations, the kitchen was designed to be enjoyed. Counter stools create a comfortable place to dine or linger, while an east-facing
window behind the seating brings in warm natural light throughout the day, giving the space an inviting glow.
Beauty That Works
The result is a kitchen where luxury is found not simply in how it looks, but in how effortlessly it lives. Every material, detail, and storage solution was thoughtfully considered to create a space that is as functional as it is beautiful.
